I can’t say enough positive things about the attention I have received at Scott Wilson Hearing Aids – starting with my initial visit with Scott and through the follow-up visits with his staff to tweak my hearing aids until I was comfortable with them. In particular I appreciate the service I received from Kirsten Corcoran who spent a lot of time with me and even enlisted the Phonak (manufacturer) rep to assist in resolving my hearing issues. I had multiple ear infections and had tubes put in at the age of 3. As I got older hearing loss grew worse.What really came to bother me was it was effecting my social life and my job. My boss at the time suffered also. She Told me about Dr. Wilson said he was kind and great with getting the right aids and great explaining every detail to help newcomers like me. Money came to be the next factor. In 2010 I had lost both my parents and 1 day I was going to get their mail and a post card for Dr. Wilson was in there it was a sign from my parents. And 2012 after settling my parents estate I could finally afford my first pair . I do believe in karma and prayers being answered. Now in 2022 my pair was deteriorating I had to get a new pair again prayers answered by my Mother in law who had past.

I purchased the Phonak Audio M30 hearing aids about 3 months ago. I have been wearing aids for several years now, but these are above and beyond any that have been made. After working in a shipyard and years of hunting, my hearing had degraded. I had problems hearing my wife, hearing conversations at family events, conversations with friends and just plain having a hard time hearing most things. This caused me to recluse. I spent money on “so called hearing aids” from places like Walmart, magazine ads, junk mail and tv ads. None of these hearing amplifiers really improved my hearing. I have poor eyesight so I buy glasses. I get sick I go to the doctor. I have a tooth ache I go to the dentist. So why was I cheating my hearing. I thought to myself, why wouldn’t I want to do something to improve my hearing? Thus, I finally decided to buy real hearing aids. I researched hearing aids and read reviews before deciding on my choice. I finally settled on Scott Wilson Hearing Aids. I made an appointment to have my hearing tested. Then I was fitted for hearing aids. Scott order them and in a week I had new hearing aids. Scott tuned them to my hearing needs and gave me 2 weeks to try them out before deciding to purchase them. This was the top reason I went with Scott Wilson Hearing Aids. I could actually try the hearing aids before buying them. Most place require you to buy them first and the you have the hassle of getting your money back if you don’t want them. After the 2 weeks many positive things happen because I was able to hear better. I kicked myself as to why I didn’t get them earlier. At least I did and boy has my life changed. I no longer have problems hearing my wife (except when my selective hearing kicks in), I participated in conversations during family events this past holiday season and in general I hear better. I love the Bluetooth feature of the hearing aid. I no longer have to have earphones to listen to my smartphone. I love the “Find the hearing aids feature” because I did loose one of the aids once but because of this feature I was able to find it immediately. Overall I am very pleased with the hearing aids. The service that Scott and his staff provides is top quality. Oh and here is one thing that Scott did for me. He told me that my health insurance paid almost half of the hearing aids. That was gravy. I was going to get the hearing aids but having found out that my health insurance paid for half, well I would have been foolish not to get the hearing aids. Don’t skip on your hear. You don’t know what you’re missing until you get hearing aids. Hearing is part of your health and plays a major part into your quality of life. Don’t wait like I did. Get them now. And by all means get them from Scott Wilson because Scott is truly concerned with improving your hearing and not just sell hearing aids. He will work with you to get you the best hearing aids you can afford. Your quality of life will only get better.

My wife’s old BTE Phonak suffered a break in the conductive tubing to the ear mold … and during the height of the COVID-19 epidemic! The receptionist made every effort to accomodate me that day, and Mr. Wilson performed a perfect repair without having to see the patient! My wife is overjoyed with the result. I cannot thank Scott Wilson and his staff for the outstanding service that I have received from them for the past 12 years. I’m on my third pair of hearing aids and am over the top happy with them. I’m blown away with Scott’s expertise and knowledge of his product. He takes the time to explain how the new technology works as well a taking his time fitting you and answering any questions or concerns. There are not enough words and stars to express our appreciation to Scott Wilson and staff. During this Covid19 crisis, my son’s hearing aid completely failed!! Called his Hearing Aid provider, offices closed indefinitely. Went online, researched, read reviews and chose Scott Wilson. Receptionist immediately reassured me they could help solve the issue and if need be would give him a loaner!! He made him feel so welcome and at ease, did a hearing test, explained the latest technology and improvements from his 6 year old defunct aid. As previously mentioned, Scott fitted him with a loaner until the NEW hearing came in, one week later. !!! The difference in his hearing is day and night!
